A Faith Based Non-Profit Organisation Current Jobs in Nigeria: Recruitment for Program Director, Executive Director, Program Manager, Medical Mission

THE ORGANIZATION:

A faith based non-profit organisation with a proven track record of building the society by changing the lives of people through rehabilitation, empowerment and education seeks to employ experienced professionals to join its team by occupying the following position:

POST TITLE:   Program Director

JOB DUTIES:
  • Leadership: Provide overall strategic direction and leadership for the organisation’s programs.
OPERATIONAL PLANNING & MANAGEMENT:
  • Oversee the implementation of the organisations’ Drug Rehabilitation and Resource Centre programs,
ADVOCACY:
  • Network with relevant agencies to share information and best practice on drug abuse prevention, recovery treatment and awareness information.
RISK MANAGEMENT:
  • Establish and monitor program standards for quality, efficiency and effectiveness; develop and utilize performance and impact measures in pro­gram Development, planning and execution,
  • Develop collaborative arrangements with community groups, sponsors, govern­ment organizations, other NGOs and development organizations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Applicants must possess MBBS with post graduate qualifications in Healthcare Administration, Clinical Psychology or Public Health,
  • 7-10 years progressive experi­ence in a clinical public health set­ting,
  • Previous experience working in a drug therapy/rehabilitation pro­gram is highly desirable.

POST TITLE:   Executive Director

LEADERSHIP:
  • Represent the foundation on all aspects of corporate communication and correspondence,
  • Develop operational plans which incorporate goals and objectives of the organisa­tion and manage responsibly for the successful leadership and strategic management of the organization.
OPERATIONAL PLANNING & MANAGEMENT:
  • Participate with EXCO and Board of Trustees in developing a strategic plan to guide the foundation, based on the vision as expressed/outlined by the founder,
  • Ensure implementation of policies, procedures and best practice.
FINANCIAL PLANNING: 
  • Development of fund raising plans in order to increase fund­ing for the organization,
  • Liaise with Board and Finance committee to secure adequate funding for the oper­ation of the organisation as well as prepare a comprehensive budget for the organ­isation,
  • Community Relates/Advocacy: Establish good working relationships and col­laborative arrangements with community groups, sponsors, donors, finders, gov­ernment organizations, politicians and other NGO organizations to attain the goals of the organization.
RISK MANAGEMENT:
  • Evaluate the risks to the foundation, its people property, finances, goodwill and image and also implement control measures to reduce expo­sure,
  • Demonstrate technical understanding of managing a non-profit organization.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Applicant must possess MBA or Masters degree from the social sciences, humani­ties or management sci­ences,
  • 7-10 years experience at senior management level within a non-profit organisa­tion,
  • Proficiency in the use of com­puters for Word Processing, Financial Management E-mail and Internet,
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to com­municate with multiple audi­ences using a variety of for­mats.

POST TITLE:   Program Manager, Medical Mission

LEADERSHIP: A Medical Doctor to develop and implement Medical Missions programs.

OPERATIONAL PLANNING & MANAGEMENT:
  • Incorporate Primary Health Care Clinics, Medical Missions Outreach programs, HIV/AIDS care and support programs, health promotion and substance abuse programs,
  • Ensure that the Medical Mission program provides a robust service by monitoring program standards for quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Applicants should have MBBS with at least five years post qualification experience preferably in a community health setting,
  • Post graduate qualification in Public Health or related discipline is an added advantage.
