A Newly Established Medium Scale Company Current Jobs in Nigeria: Recruitment for General Manager, Chief Accountant,

JOB VACANCIES:

Our client, a newly established medium scale company located in Ekiti State with state-of the art, fully automated equipment manufacturing high quality toilet tissue soap and toilet tissue rolls for the Nigerian and West African export market, requires for immediate employment, suitably qualified candidates (local or expatriate) with relevant experience in the production of quality toilet tissue rolls and quality toilet soap to fill the following vacancies:

POST TITLE:   General Manager


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Candidate with at least ten (10) years working experience at top management level in soap and toilet tissue manufacturing must be able to demonstrate leadership strengths in strategic business planning and execution of programs for all phases of the business life cycle especially startup and expansion,
  • The candidate must also possess diverse operational experience that extends to finance/accounting purchasing/materials management, logistics, production, quality assurance, HR, information systems,’ sales, and expertise in budgeting, cash management, and cost controls.

POST TITLE:   Chief Accountant

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Candidate with at least ten (10) years experience in a similar position will be responsible for financial strategy, planning, control and preparation of the monthly and annual statements of accounts, as well as estimating and forecasting monthly expenditures,
  • The candidate will also be expected to put in place sound financial management processes and procedures to support the business as it grows.

POST TITLE:   Chinese Translator

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • The candidate must be able to demonstrate fluency in the Chinese standard language as his/her duties include managing language and communications translation issues and activities as necessary to enable effective relations and smooth flow of operations both on the shop floor and with foreign partners.

POST TITLE:   Business Development Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Candidates should have at least eight (8) years in a similar management position, the ideal candidate is expected to develop techniques to grow the company,
  • The ideal candidate must be proficient in researching new business opportunities (including investigating economic conditions, industry trends and competition), conducting extensive market research, preparing and executing a detailed business plan, identifying likely sales points, developing strategic plans and sales strategies and negotiating with prospective customers.

POST TITLE:   Marketing  Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Applicants should have at least eight (8) years in similar management position, the ideal candidate must be able to plan and implement marketing strategy, including  advertising and PR, plan and implement sales and customer retention and development, plan and manage sales and marketing resources according to agreed budgets, manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the sales and marketing departments, and most especially build a viable export market.

POST TITLE:   Production Supervisors (Toilet Roll)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Reporting to the Production Manager, the ideal candidate with at least five (5) years in related fields will assist in overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule, ensuring that production is cost effective and of high quality, monitoring the production process and adjusting schedules as needed, ensuring that production quotas are met, selecting and maintaining equipment, supervising and motivating a team of workers as well as developing  HSE standards to ensure safe plant and machinery, safe movement, storage and use of articles and substances,
  • The candidate will be involved in both the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision stage).

POST TITLE:   Assistant Production Manager (Toilet Soap)

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

Candidates should have at least ten (10) years experience in toilet soap production.


POST TITLE:   Production Supervisor (Toilet Soap)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Candidate should have relevant experience to soap production.

POST TITLE:   Technician (Electro-Mechanical)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Reporting to the Senior Technician, the ideal candidate with, a minimum of ten (10) years experience must be able to demonstrate great expertise in the maintenance and repair of the plant machinery and equipment,
  • He will be expected to analyze machine tool malfunctions (both electrical and mechanical), maintain a maintenance repair log and documentation and perform complex machine repairs as required.

POST TITLE:   Officer (Accounts Department)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Reporting to the Chief Accountant, the ideal candidate with not less than five (5) years experience in a well-structured accounts department of a notable organisation will assist in preparing accounts, reconciliation of bank statements and suppliers/distributors accounts, managing payroll and controlling budgets.

POST TITLE:   Information Technology Officer

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidates with not less than five (5) years experience will  be responsible for overseeing all information technology within a company,
  • With relevant experience m networking and troubleshooting, the successful candidate is expected to identify information technology strategies and implement them in line with the company’s objectives,
  • The candidate also expected to assist in selecting appropriate software and hardware for company operations, troubleshooting these systems regularly, maintaining the integrity of all operating systems and servers for seamless production at the company, including capturing, storing and processing data as well as maintaining systems security.

POST TITLE:   Sales/Marketing Officers

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  •  Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the ideal candidates must demonstrate ability to plan and priorities personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims.

POST TITLE:   Secretary to the General Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate must demonstrate ability to prepare and manage correspondences, reports and documents, organize and coordinate meetings, conferences and travel arrangements, implement and maintain office systems, organize internal and external events, coordinate the flow of information both internally and externally and manage all types of clerical duties.
