University of Agriculture, Makurdi Current Jobs: Recruitment for Chief Technical Officer, Assistant Chief Technical Officer

JOB VACANCIES:

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the non -teaching vacancies in the following Departments/ units of the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.

TECHNICAL STAFF UNIT:

POST TITLE:   Chief Technical Officer (CONTISS13)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Candidates should possess FTC or HND or HNC or B.Sc. in the relevant field from a recognized tertiary institution with fifteen (15) years cognate experience,
• An M.sc in the relevant field with twelve (12) years cognate experience or PGD in the relevant field with fourteen (14) years cognate experience.

POST TITLE:   (CONTISS 12)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Candidates should possess FTC or HND or HNC or B.Sc. in the relevant field from a recognized tertiary institution with (12) years cognate experience or
• M.sc in the relevant field with (9) years cognate experience or PGD in the relevant field with (11) years experience will be required.

NOTES:

i)     All candidates must possess either NYSC Discharge certificate or exemption certificate or certificate of exclusion where applicable,

ii)    Salaries and Allowances attached to the various vacancies are the same with the approved salary scheme for Federal Universities in Nigeria,

iii)   Candidates who are awaiting results may not be considered and need not apply,

iv)   Computer literacy is required for all cadres listed above.

xvi)   Full details of teaching, research experience and service to the nation and

immediate community where applicable

xvi)      Names, addresses, GSM numbers and e-mail addresses of three referees who shall include his/her current boss or Head of Department, one who must attest to his character and another who will speak on his professional/ academic competence.
