A Private Group of Companies Current Jobs in Nigeria: Recruitment for Consultant (Manager Level), Executive/ Technical Assistant, Project Coordinator

EXCITING JOB VACANCIES:

The following vacancies are available within a private group of companies located in Lagos.

POST TITLE:   Consultant (Manager Level)
The company is an educational consulting firm with national coverage and growing beyond Nigeria in 2012 now seeks a consultant at the Manager Level to join its team in Lagos.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The Consultant will oversee research and consulting activities and is also expected to assist in the development of new business in Nigeria and beyond.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • A proven track record in tendering and delivering large- scale multi-donor funded projects in Education and Training,
  • Ability to draft detailed proposals as part of the tendering process,
  • Previous experience as well as a good understanding of the Nigeria education sector is required,
  • Experience in curriculum and course development for training,
  • Good stakeholder and syndication skills as well as the ability to engage with senior policy makers and stakeholders,
  • Previous managerial experience including staff responsibility,
  • Previous project management exposure (certification will be an advantage),
  • Excellent academic qualifications (Minimum Masters Level – in education or business. An MBA will be an advantage),
  • Excellent communication and in particular he/she must have good report writing skills Working knowledge of French would be desirable.
JOB ROLE:
  • This role will ideally suit a self starter and dynamic professional who is happy to work as part of a small team.

POST TITLE:   Executive/ Technical Assistant

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • A competent professional preferably with a business background and educated to Masters Level is required to work with a driven senior executive (entrepreneur) with diverse interests in Education, Consulting and Not for Profit, etc),
  • This person is expected to be highly versatile across business sectors and exposed to international best practice in the business arena,
  • He or She will assist with the various aspects of the business affairs of the senior executive as well as manage aspects of the senior executive’s family office,
  • Good working knowledge of project management Company secretarial exposure (Optional) Fantastic communication skills (Oral & Written),
  • Competent user of MS Office including PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project,
  • Working knowledge of French will be an advantage,
  • Problem solver – Ability to analyse constructively and be a Problem Solver.

POST TITLE:   Project Coordinator

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • A project coordinator is required to manage and coordinate project activities of a newly established Not for Profit organisation,
  • This person is expected to manage and coordinate intervention programmes of the organisation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree educated,
  • Previous experience with NGOs and/or Not for Profit organisations,
  • A natural passion to work with the less privileged,
  • Must be computer literate,
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills,
  • This role will ideally suit an individual with a few years experience that is willing to grow in this sector.
