Pepkor Retail Properties a division of Pepkor Retail Ltd requires candidates to fill the position below:

POST TITLE:   Property Manager

JOB LOCATION: Based in Lagos, Nigeria

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To research the property market, identify potential properties, negotiate and close business deals for the rental or purchase of new premises as to expand the Pepkor business in Nigeria.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and evaluate new opportunities,
• Negotiate leases for new stores/premises,
• Liaise with landlords,
• Presentations to board for approval,
• Administration and record keeping of all property related processes.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Grade 12,
• Tertiary qualification (preferably in Construction Management),
• Minimum 3 years experience in Property Management,
• Exposure to the retail industry would be advantageous,
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills,
• Computer Literate (MS Office),
• Willingness to travel extensively within Nigeria,
• Well- organized, able to function independently, detail orientated and problem assessment.
