THE ORGANIZATION:

Moody International Nigeria Limited (MINL) provides National hire staffing services to Bechtel LNG Contractors Limited (BLCL), to realize the Brass LNG project in Bayelsa State. BLCL’s scope of services consists of project management of the EPC contractors that will be retained by Brass LNG to engineer and construct this project. The project duration is five years. This is a complex and challenging project with a remote jobsite location and communication and infrastructure challenges.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor of Engineering or construction management from a recognized Nigeria or internationally accredited University or college, extensive knowledge of the EPC industry,
• 5 + years of management experience on international large and complex multi-execution center projects,
• Added advantage for knowledge of Bechtel organization policies, procedures and programs including QA and safety,
• Multi-discipline knowledge in the following functions: Project management, engineering, contracts and procurement, construction, commissioning, project controls, risk and interface management, extensive technical knowledge of engineering systems, engineering calculations, applications of engineering methods and materials and applications of computers 2-D and 3-D computer added design (CAD) and computer aided engineering (CAE) to engineering problems.

• Candidates will be responsible for developing and implementing engineering department procedures (EDPs), Bechtel design guides, appropriate Bechtel Standard Application Program (BSAPs) and administrative practices.

• This position requires 15+ years of engineering and construction experience, 4+ years of construction management experience on large and complex projects and knowledge of oil and gas industry, technology and EPC work processes,
• Candidate will be responsible for reviewing construction estimates, budgets, forecasts, schedules and cost for acceptability, evaluating certain specifications and specifications and drawings for economic constructibility,
• Responsible for monitoring progress and facilitating mitigation plans and solutions for issues affecting adversely to project variables (cost, schedule, quality, interfaces, reputation, safety, security, community relations, etc),
• 10+ years of experience knowledge in the following functions: Project management, engineering, construction, project controls and procurement.

• Technical knowledge of operating tools P3/P6, SAP and Microsoft Office applications.

• 15+ years of finance and business administration experience to include 8+ years of finance experience on medium large international projects,
• Added advantage for 5+ years experience working with Bechtel processes and policies for undertaking responsibilities of r the project offices’ conformance to Bechtel’s procedures, and principles for the functional areas of accountability,
• Responsible for the development of accounting and other business controls for Bechtel projects.

 

POST TITLE:   Document  Manager (1)

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian or internationally accredited university or college,
• DCC position requires 10+ years experience in establishing document control for all functions including 3+ international EPC contractor’s EDMS experience,
• Added advantage for candidates with working knowledge of Bechtel information management policies, and procedures,
• Responsible for electronic document management docbase  maintenance, proficient in set up and use of DocumentumTM based EDMS, Set up and use of eRoom, vendor document tracking and daily production MIS, update pick list for attributes, document type codes, error tracking and corrections, maintenance of distribution matrix and e-transmittal's, eRoom administration for overall department performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide oversight to the overall project ICT program, consisting of multiple execution locations for complex large international EPC project,
• Interface with international company ICT and corporate ICT products and service providers and functional (engineering, project controls, etc), software application support groups to ensure that project automation needs are addressed and resources are focused where appropriate to meet project needs,
• Oversee the implementation of necessary project applications including the facilitation of  training, set-up of required hardware and software, and implement/integrate project specific automation tools,
• Computer fluency in Window NT server environment, BSAP’s, MS Office, and data/voice network technologies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Candidate must have formal and specialized training in government or private security sector totalling of 15 years,
• 5+ years of international jobsite security experience for large and complex projects with significant security risks and one that is being engineered and constructed in multiple locations,
• The candidate will be responsible for managing multi million dollar project security services for onshore and offshore facilities as well as a staff of security professionals,
• Candidate will be responsible for journey management of expatriate travels in Nigeria.
